CASANZ 2017 Conference Theme
The Critical Atmosphere
Great advances have been made during recent decades in our understanding of atmospheric processes, air pollutants and their effects, and in our ability to manage these pollutants. In spite of these achievements, societies around the world face critical challenges in maintaining the quality of our shared atmosphere while providing higher living standards for ever more people in changing global environmental conditions.
The CASANZ 2017 International Clean Air Conference will bring together specialists in all fields concerned with all aspects of air quality associated with gases, aerosols, particulates and odours, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, to exchange knowledge and to build links that can overcome critical challenges to human wellbeing.
Each day of the conference will feature a plenary session with an internationally recognised plenary speaker addressing a critical challenge for the atmosphere, supported by two invited keynote speakers. The plenary and keynote speakers will also participate in a panel discussion on the general theme for the day that leads to technical sessions addressed by selected contributors.
